Java

Female - 4 years old

 $500

Typically I write my dog profiles in "first person" from the dog's perspective, but I find I can't do this in Java's case. I love her too much (Karen) and I want you to know that and how do I adequately have "her" express this as though she's writing?  We have many dogs at BabyBarks and I truly do see them all as my dogs and I do love them all.  But some have very special places in my heart and leave a much bigger "hole" as they go.  Java is one of these.  She is my special girl.  The way her eyes bore into mine as she asks for her cuddles tell me our hearts are connected and I really love her.  But I know she has room in her heart for a special connection with a new family.  And as hard as it will be to see her go, I KNOW she will LOVE getting the natural focus that comes from being in a smaller pack with a family of her own.  Java is snuggly, happy, loves walks, has a wonderful sense of fun and humour, is quiet natured and quite relaxed.  She's a pleasure to be around and her think and silky coat make her a joy to hold.  Java is a larger weigh at around 16 lbs and has a longer nose length.  She has a longer nose length.  Java swings her front right leg a little differently as she had an injury when she was a younger dog but it causes her no issues what so ever.  I have struggled with the idea of letting Java head to a new home and long to keep her here with me.  So I'm looking for that perfect fit for her... so don't be offended if you request Java and I decline.  I really do want a family that suits her perfectly and I can imagine her thrilled with.

From Java:  I'd do best in a family of teenagers and older.  I have a longer nose length, am about 16lb (and I'm fully grown) and I have a beautiful tricolour coat that is thick and lovely.  I sleep quietly in my kennel every night from 9pm to 7:30am, am doggie door trained, fully immunized and been doing leashed walks on the BabyBarks acreage.  I have limited car experience but I can learn!

I require a fenced yard and am not available to families living in an appartment.  I'd prefer another dog in the home and humans around the vast majority of the time.  Available for adoption at the end of July/early August.

Available on a spay contract.  Must be spayed within 2 months of adoption.

Chewie
Caper

Male - 5 years

$500 each

Chewie (left) and Caper (right) are two half brothers who have been our senior papa dogs for quite some time now!  We have used these boys for so many litters because their temperaments are wonderful!  I know both of these boys would do well in a home with children over 10.  I hope that they can also go to a home who already has a dog as that will make life so much more fun for them!  They both enjoy playing with their canine pals and snuggles.  Of the two, Chewie is busier... preferring to be on the move, instead of cuddling.  Caper is more of a "lay around" sort which a huge drive so snuggle.  Both boys are up to date on their parvo series, excellent for grooming, well socialized, trained to sit and for the least.  As with any adult dog, time will need to be put into helping them understand "holding it" if you don't have a doggie door.  Both require a family who does NOT work full time and has a fenced yard.  Both boys are priced at $750 and are required to complete a neuter within the first few few weeks of joining their new home.

Kermit

Kermit is a lover of a boy.  He is passionate about people, eye contact and snuggles.  He has a gorgeous red coat that is slightly more wiry in texture. He would do well in a home with gentle kids over 10.  He would love to go to a home that already has a doggie pal. Kermit really hates sleeping in the kennel, so he'd prefer a family who is ready for a bed buddy and having a doggie pal would be the best!  Kermit loves to walk and also loves to chill.   He's up to date on his parvo series, excellent for grooming, well socialized, trained to sit and for the leash.  As with any adult dog, time will need to be put into helping them understand "holding it" if you don't have a doggie door.  He requires a family who does NOT work full time and has a fenced yard.  He is priced at $500 and are required to complete a neuter within the first few few weeks of joining their new home.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin is the sweetest girl.  Gentle natured, snuggly, wiggly and full of fun.  She would be the perfect companion for any dog and almost any family!  I'd love to see her head to a home with children over 10, a fully fenced yard and someone home consistently.  I think she'd also appreciate dog companionship, if possible.  She's a gentle lover of a girl.  She weighs about 14-15 lbs, and has a bit of an underbite and shows up or is hidden, depending on the moment. She is kennel trained, leash trained and up to date on her parvo immunizations.

Toffee

Female - 2 years old

 Adopted!

Jenga

I'm a loving girl who is passionate about attention, snuggles, walk time and play!  I'd be a great companion for a family with children ages 10 and up.  I'm leash trained, sit on command, doggie door trained and sleeping through the night in my kennel.  Thunder and fireworks really scare me, but nothing your love can't help me through!  I weigh about 13lbs, am very tall through the leg and have a shorter nose length.
